Announcement of the changes planned for the 1.55.0 update

Hello, survivors! We want to tell you about some of the planned changes that will appear in the game with the 1.55.0 update. 

Balance changes

Previously, there was a significant gap in effectiveness among co-drivers. We have adjusted their key parameters to even out this difference. Now, some co-drivers will be more useful in battle.

Hertz

- Minimum speed for charging the active skill at level 1 reduced from 60 to 50 km/h.

- Percentage of active skill charge per meter traveled at level 1 increased from 0.5% to 1%.

- Damage from being in the electric field at level 1 increased from 120 to 150.

- Field active time at level 1 increased from 4 to 5 sec.; at level 50, from 8 to 10 sec.

- Active skill recharge time at level 1 reduced from 16 to 15 sec.

- Bonus to barrier durability at level 1 increased from 1% to 3%; at level 50 from 15% to 30%.

- Bonus to energy damage resistance at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%; at level 50 from 20% to 25%.

- Bonus to active module working time at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%; at level 50 from 15% to 20%.

Jay

- Maximum number of charges reduced from 5 to 3. Fewer hits are now required to fully charge the skill.

- Active skill bonus to projectile speed at level 50 increased from 5% to 8%.

- Active skill bonus to spread reduction at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%; at level 50 from 10% to 15%.

- Active skill bonus to damage at level 50 increased from 4% to 8%.

Yuki

- Active skill activation radius from 50 to 40 m.

- Active skill rate of fire bonus at level 1 increased from 0% to 2%.

- Active skill bonus to damage to movement parts at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%; at level 50 from 10% to 25%.

- Cabin power bonus at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%.

- Bonus to spread reduction at level 1 increased from 1% to 3%.

- Bonus to frame and wheel resistance at level 1 increased from 1% to 3%; at level 50 from 25% to 30%.

- Activation range for the “Boarding” skill reduced from 20 to 25 m.

Ulfgar

- Active skill duration at level 1 increased from 7 to 8 sec.; at level 50, it has been reduced from 14 to 12 sec.

- Active skill bonus to damage resistance at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%.

- Active skill bonus to heating and freezing resistance at level 1 increased from 1% to 10%.

- Active skill radius reduced from 40 to 30 m.

- Active skill freezing percentage per second at level 1 increased from 5% to 12.5%.

- The percentage of damage dealt by an active skill relative to maximum durability increased from 1% to 5% at level 1, and from 5% to 10% at level 50.

- Active skill percentage of damage dealt relative to maximum durability at level 1 increased from 1% to 10%; at level 50 from 5% to 20%.

- Bonus to heating and freezing resistance at level 1 increased from 1% to 10%.

- Bonus to reducing speed restrictions for tracks and augers at level 1 increased from 1% to 2%.

- Bonus to the recharge speed of active cabin abilities at level 1 increased from 1% to 3%.

Billie

- Distance required to charge the active skill increased from 20 to 30 m.

- Active skill duration at level 1 reduced from 9 to 7 sec.; at level 50 from 15 to 12 sec.

- Active skill bonus to fire rate at level 1 reduced from 20% to 10%; at level 50 from 60% to 50%.

- Active skill bonus to reload speed at level 50 reduced from 200% to 150%.

Grizzly

- Damage required to charge the active skill at level 1 reduced from 5000 to 4000.

- Active skill recharge time increased from 5 to 7 sec.

Foster

- Active skill projectile damage at level 50 reduced from 1500 to 1200.

- Skill recharge time at level 1 increased from 8 to 10 sec.; at level 50 from 4 to 6 sec.

- Weapon rotation speed bonus at level 1 increased from 1% to 10%.

- Bonus to spread reduction at level 1 increased from 1% to 3%; at level 50 from 20% to 30%.

Spike

- Fire puddle damage at level 50 reduced from 320 to 280.

- Frame and wheel damage resistance at level 1 increased from 1% to 3%; at level 50 from 25% to 30%.

Phobos

- Active skill recharge time reduced from 14 to 12 sec.

Some of the suggestions made by players on our official Discord channel have been included in the current balance changes. However, certain changes can only be implemented in version 1.56. Here are some of them:

Jay

- Electric charges of “Acari” should no longer passively charge the active perk.

Grizzly

- Reworked the active perk’s activation mechanics: it should be activated not based on damage taken, but on the percentage of the cabin’s durability lost. The 4000 durability threshold affects the builds with different durability values differently, which makes the perk’s activation conditions inconsistent.
