The new seasonal pack “Darkness” is now available for purchase in the in-game store until November 28!
The armoured vehicle is designed on the basis of the new legendary “Mars” cabin, armed with the “Yongwang” grenade launchers and equipped with “Cheetah” and “Seal” modules. The “Darkness” armoured vehicle is versatile in battle: it performs defensive and offensive tasks. After dealing a certain amount of damage, the “Mars” cabin restores the durability of all parts installed on the armoured vehicle.
The pack is available in two versions — standard and deluxe.
Halloween has come to the Wasteland! Once again, evil spirits are awakening in our world, mutants are rising and monsters are coming out of caves. Survivors, get ready to be immersed in the chaos of fun: the holiday begins on October 31! This year you’ll be treated to:
• Special “Tyrant” and “Alchemist” themed packs available for purchase in the in-game store until November 9;
• The exciting “Judgement day” brawl will be open to everyone from October 31 to November 14;
• A mystical atmosphere in your garage makes building an armoured vehicle a “scary” experience.
Be careful survivors, the spirits of Halloween know no rest!
Survivors! There is a new clan PvP 4x4 mode “Clan skirmish” on the map. Only players who are members of a clan can take part in the battles. The mode is available without time limits for individual play and for groups of 2 players. Armoured vehicles with 4000 PS and above that do not have key parts (weapons, cabins, movement parts and modules) of legendary or relic rarity are allowed to take part in the battles.
Victories in this mode count towards the clan leaderboard. Clans in the top leaderboard places will receive talers at the end of the season.
The duration of the season is 7 days.
Survivors! We are once again launching the event for modifying parts — “Modification facility”! As part of the event, you will be able to upgrade your parts by adding random modifications to them. To obtain a modified part, you will need resources or parts and a special currency — titanium. The specific recipe for modifying a certain part is indicated in the modification cards.
Titanium can be earned by completing special challenges, as a reward for battles, or it can be purchased from the in-game store.
Many cabins and weapons of various rarities are available for modification, including “Hive”, “Lucifer”, “Morta”, “Kensei”, “AD-13 Hawk”, “RT Anaconda”, “Medusa”, “T5 Salamander”, “Garm” and “Quasar”. And when you update the modifications, the freezing mechanic will allow you to secure the most appropriate modification applied to the part so that it doesn’t change when you update the others.
New modification management functions have also been added: now a modification can be removed from a part or transferred to a part without modifications within the same rarity. When a modification is transferred, the bonuses are changed to random, while preserving the level of the bonus.
Also, a container with parts participating in the event, including those that have already been modified, will still be available in the “Modification facility” store.
Access to the event will open after the “Engineers’ contract” event ends.
The “Modification facility” event will end on November 14.
1. Added additional weld points to the “Maxwell” module.
2. Added a description of the installation restriction associated with the module type for passive modules.
3. Added an end-of-season reward for PvP and PvE mode leaderboards. For PvE, the reward corresponds to resources obtained in the corresponding rank of missions; for PvP, the reward is talers and corresponds to the placement in the leaderboard.
4. Improved the physical model of the “Willow” shotgun. Now it better matches the visual model. Thanks to this, it is now possible to armour the shotgun with parts 1 pin high.
5. Changed the mechanics of fuel tank modules. Now they provide different amounts of ammunition for flamethrowers depending on the ammo pack (active time) of the flamethrower. In practice, fuel tanks are now less effective for the “Draco” flamethrower. Changed the modules descriptions.
6. The effectiveness of perks that provide you with dashes is significantly reduced when using incompatible movement parts. Parts with such perks: “Cheetah” engine, “Mantis” mechanical leg, “Cerberus” cabin, “Moonlight” lance.
7. Added the “Car jack” option to the build mode. When this option is enabled, the armoured vehicle is raised to a certain height.
1. Fixed a bug that was causing blueprints with “Mantis” movement parts to be loaded into the garage with unwelded parts.
2. Fixed a bug that caused the сrosscrown balance to be displayed in the event menu even when the “Raven’s path” event is not active.
3. Fixed a bug that caused armoured vehicles with tracks to not take the speed limit into account when moving backwards.
4. Removed the “steering” button in the build mode for all types of movement parts except wheels.
5. Fixed a bug that caused “Yari”, “Adapter”, and “Astraeus” to shoot through parts of their own armoured vehicle and allied armoured vehicles.
6. Railguns no longer charge while shooting.
7. Reduced the “Claw” wheel’s base PS from 139 to 112.
8. Adjusted the mechanics of the “Dragon” cannon: now the activation range of the fire jet is equal to the range of its flight, which is 25 m.
9. Fixed a bug that caused the “Concrete breaker’s” reload time to increase when upgrading, instead of decreasing.
10. Brought back the warning about launched homing rockets aimed at the player.
11. Fixed a bug that caused bearings reward for the production of parts to be displayed for parts that have no production option.
12. Fixed incorrect display of the “Taimyr” module’s upgradable parameters when upgrading.
13. Fixed a bug that caused the “Trump card” perk to not work with the “Clarinet TOW”.
14. Fixed a bug that caused “Triggers” to have a small offset during firing.
15. Fixed a bug that caused the crosshairs to not be highlighted in red when firing through the “Nova” cabin shield.
Changes to the maximum range of weapons
1. Increased the maximum range of all plasma cannons from 200 to 500 m.
2. Increased the maximum range of all rocket launchers and course rocket launchers from 160 to 500 m. Direct hit damage is reduced at ranges greater than 160 m. At the maximum range, direct damage is reduced by 70%. Blast damage is not reduced by distance.
3. Increased the maximum range of medium and long-range machine guns from 80 to 200 m:
- M-29 Protector.
- Spectre-2
- Vindicator
- Nothung
- Punisher
- Aspect
4. Increased the maximum range of medium-range machine guns from 80 to 140 m:
- SMP Hornet
- LM-54 Chord
- MM5-4 Vector
- ST-M23 Defender
- M-38 Fidget
- M-37 Piercer
- M-39 Imp
Machine guns' damage is reduced at distances greater than 80 m. At maximum range, damage is reduced by 70%.
Comment: we are starting to gradually increase the range of our weapons. This time, the increase in maximum range is supported by the long range damage reduction system. Plasma weapons are not susceptible to range damage reduction due to their technology.
Cabins
1. Savior: the speed needed to activate the perk is increased from 36 km/h to 50 km/h. Repulsion impulse strength has been reduced.
2. Icebox: the increase of maximum range of rocket launchers has been removed, as now rocket launchers fire at maximum range.
Movement parts
1. Icarus: durability increased by 15%.
2. Hermes: durability increased by 15%.
Comment: the problem of insufficient durability of hovers is due to their high inertness. By design, hovers should be less durable than other movement parts, but currently they lack the mobility to dodge incoming damage (so-called “speed tanking”). Another increase in durability should smooth things out a bit before the physics changes are introduced. However, once their mobility is improved, it is likely that the durability of the hovers will need to be reduced again.
