Underwater World of Crossout Mobile
Survivors! We are always inspired by your creativity and incredible ideas, and seeing how you build excellent sea-themed crafts (Hi InnaboatMontoya), we've decided to expand the boundaries of the Wasteland to oceanic scales! Get ready to dive into an entirely new world of underwater battles and maritime adventures!
As a result of the latest experiments by the Dawn’s Children with ultra-powerful weaponry, the world of Crossout has become half-flooded. Because of this, battles for valuable resources on the maps "Highway 11", "Ashen Ring", "Founders Canyon", and "Aircraft Carriers" will now take place entirely underwater. To participate in underwater battles, survivors will need unique movement parts and a special passive module.
New Types of Movement Parts
1. Oars
This type of movement part allows your armored vehicle to float on the water's surface. Master the art of rowing and maneuver between the dangers of the seas!
2. Mechanical Fins
With this movement part, you can dive underwater and explore the depths of the oceans. Ideal for stealth approaches and unexpected attacks from below!
New Cabin — "Nautilus"
Passive Perk: Increases the firing rate of weapons underwater by 30%.
Active Perk: For 5 seconds, increases movement speed by 50%, during which your armored vehicle becomes immune to any type of damage. Perfect for quick breakthroughs and retreats!
New Battle Mechanics
1. Electroshock
All energy weapons used underwater automatically apply the "Electroshock" debuff, which immobilizes the target for 1 second and deals instant energy damage equal to 10% of the maximum durability to everyone in the water (including you). Be cautious when using this effect!
2. Underwater Breathing
Now, while underwater, you need to monitor your oxygen level. If this indicator drops below zero, your screen will start to darken, and you will lose 10% of your maximum durability per second until you surface. Keep an eye on your oxygen level and plan your dives!
New Passive Module — "Gillron"
Provides infinite underwater breathing. Indispensable for underwater explorers and lovers of the depths!
New Relic Weapon - "Underwater Harpoon"
Pierce enemies underwater and pull them towards you or pull yourself towards large targets! The harpoon has increased range and deals additional damage to underwater targets.
New Map - "Stormy Waters"
The new map "Stormy Waters" is designed for combat both on land and underwater. However, the base capture zone is flooded! Use new movement capabilities and tactics to achieve victory in epic naval battles!
New PvE Mode - "Kraken Hunt"
Team up in groups of 8 survivors and battle the legendary sea monster - the Kraken! In this mode, you must confront a giant creature attacking coastal settlements. Use new underwater mechanics, coordinate team actions, and defeat the monster to receive valuable resources and unique rewards.
Other Important Changes
1. The horn now deals damage - honk at enemies to deal 1 unit of damage per second!
2. Leviathan Battles
Some players complained about encountering very weak Leviathans in battles, so we've decided to increase the minimum characteristics of Leviathans for access to the mode. Now, only Leviathans with over 50,000 durability and equipped only with relic weapons are allowed into battle.
3. The garage is now equipped with a luxurious pool: Rest after tough battles and get your armored vehicle in order.
4. Now, every time someone in the chat asks "Any new promo codes?" a special bot will record this request in a general counter. As soon as 30 requests accumulate, a promo code will be released. Only one request per user is counted.
5. Now the battle cannot end in a draw - after the end of the timer, survivors play "Tic-Tac-Toe" in Crossout (XO) style to determine the winner!
Bug Fixes
Now all bugs are automatically recognized as features and will not be fixed. This will allow us to focus on more important tasks rather than waste time on such trifles.
Balance Adjustments
Weapons
1. Mandrake
According to statistics, this weapon is significantly less effective than other weaponry due to its complexity, so we are moving the Mandrake to the class of "homing missiles."
2. Rumble
We have tried several times to balance this weapon, but it either becomes too strong or too weak. Therefore, we have decided to change its mechanics: now Rumble has a huge spread and a minimum firing range of 100 meters. However, upon successfully hitting an enemy craft, it is guaranteed to destroy it regardless of durability. All enemy shields are also ignored.
Movement Parts
1. Wheels
We have received your messages about the excessive effectiveness of wheels in battles, so we are adding a new mechanic: realistic tire wear. Now you need to change tires after each match. Watch the tread!
Congratulations to all our players on the holiday! We hope you will really enjoy our new version of the game, as it is made based on your wishes.
